I thought it would be fun to do one of these Q & A blog tag things, as I haven’t done them in a while. I grabbed this particular set of questions from the first results that come up when Google searching “73 questions tag,” and obviously they were inspired by Vogue’s 73 Questions with celebrities. Some of the questions were uninteresting for me and/or too much about food though, so I replaced them with some q’s from the TS 73 Questions video. Just imagine me very smoothly coming up with these answers while gracefully touring you through my super chic Pinterest-worthy apartment (aka the opposite of real life haha)
What’s the best thing that has happened to you this month?
(December has just begun so I take this to mean November.) Got hired and started working! What’s the best thing that has happened to you this year?
1.A) Passed my thesis and finished my second degree, which happened simultaneously, because the occurrence of one thing meant the other—it was one of those kinda nights that you know would be seared in your memory forever even as you were living it. I was gifted with so much validation; I was reeling from it for days.
1.B) The Avengers: Infinity War opening night experience in IMAX—I dunno how to possibly describe how it felt to watch that movie for the first time with that crowd. It was BONKERS. Like a packed stadium loudly cheering for fictional superheroes (which I know sounds super lame lol) but like … the energy and adrenaline in that room was just amazzzziiinngg. And the movie itself was no joke!! This might sound like an exaggeration, but while 2018 was a dumpster fire in so many ways, because Infinity War was good, and I was breathlessly satisfied, when I was so worried it couldn’t possibly live up to my hype, by April 25, 2018 I had already decided that 2018 was a good year for me. Like, I can’t even explain how thankful I am that Infinity War was good. It literally made my year. (I wish I was joking. But I’m not. Hahaaa)What’s the best thing ever?

Yellow for junior prom, because when I say I was obsessed with Beauty and the Beast as a child and it ruined me for life, I was not kidding. Almost wore lime green for senior prom but literally the morning of prom day my mom suddenly became underwhelmed by it and unearthed a fuchsia dress out of nowhere and made me wear that instead.Blow dry or air dry?
I adore my hair air dried and unbrushed cus that’s when my 2A waves come out, but that level of frizz in the Philippine heat is not really presentable in public, so I blow dry + flat iron my hair to style it every time I go out. So, both? Basically?Do you think you’re strong?

Set my alarm(s).What’s one skill you wish you had?
The ability to speak well. And, you know, the ease and confidence and clear-mindedness that comes with that. Having to speak in front of an audience creates maximum havoc on my body (this past week we had a conference call at work and an hour before it was scheduled to happen I started having chest pains and difficulty breathing. My brain knew it was just a phone call and it wouldn’t, like, kill me, but that never matters because my anxiety is so extra. It is the most annoying thing.) but even when I’m with people I am comfortable with so I’m talkative, I still couldn’t speak in straight sentences. I’m just not wired for it. My YouTube recommendation page as of late has been full of Michelle Obama interviews and I am soooo in awe of how well-spoken she is. I could never achieve that level. What is something that recently moved you?
I’ve been catching up on season two episodes of The Good Doctor (the US series) and while the show never really gets too heavy and is obviously catered to mainstream audiences, I am impressed by the themes they have the guts to tackle this latest season. S02E04 has a storyline about a single parent struggling with caring for a child with special needs and the resentment that comes with that; I didn’t really cry but I was almost there. Lots of other thought-provoking storylines, too. Good writing on that show.Describe your ideal man in 3 words?
